Virginia Tech Comeback Sinks Volleyball, 3-1

NC State took the first game of its contest in Blacksburg, Va., at Virginia Tech on Saturday, Oct. 13, but ultimately fell, 3-1. The loss sends the Pack to 3-16 (0-9 ACC), while the Hokies climb 11-9 (5-5). Lauren Zaniboni posted a double-double with 16 kills and 10 digs, and Chrissy Zirpolo also scored 16 kills while adding two service aces. Lindsay Benac had a team-high 14 digs, while Allison Davis lifted 29 assists. Janay Yancey tallied three total blocks, and the team posted eight total blocks overall.
