TIM PEELER: Pack Picked 3rd in ACC MBB Preseason Poll

NC State was picked to finish third in the ACC preseason poll. North Carolina was the unanimous preseason choice, earning all the first-place votes on the 64 ballots cast and garnering 768 points. Duke was second in the poll with 653 points, followed closely by Lowe's Wolfpack with 641. In addition, sophomore forward Brandon Costner was picked for the preseason All-ACC team, joining North Carolina's Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson, Virginia's Sean Singletary and Boston College's Tyrese Rice.
