Georgia Tech Tops Volleyball, 3-0
November 10, 2007 on 9:46 pm | In Athletics |NC State fell to Georgia Tech in three games on Friday, Oct. 26, in Atlanta, Ga. The loss sends the Pack to 3-19 (0-12 ACC) on the year, while the Yellow Jackets improve to 14-8 (8-4 ACC). Ashley Wallace was near-flawless yet again, grabbing seven kills in 12 attempts without a single attack error. Wallace hasn't had an attack error in the last two matches, and has just two in her last 49 swings. Lauren Zaniboni led State with eight kills as Georgia Tech held all Wolfpackers to single-digit kill counts. Alex Smith totaled 28 assists, and Chrissy Zirpolo recorded 11 digs. Zaniboni also had a team-high seven total blocks, and three players recorded service aces.
