TIM PEELER: Course Gets Audubon Status; Palmer to Visit
December 13, 2007 on 8:40 pm | In Athletics |The Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Centennial Campus will be an Audubon Siliver-status course, reflecting the university's commitment to growing in an environmentally friendly way. And designer Arnold Palmer, who took the first tee shot at the course this summer, will return on Dec. 7 to inspect the work done so far on the course and meet with a small group of guests for lunch and a silent auction.
