Allbritten Single Gives Softball Win Over BC in Extras

Alyssa Allbritten punched an RBI single to center with two outs in the bottom of the eighth, handing NC State a 1-0 victory in its rubber match with Boston College on Sunday, March 16, at the Curtis & Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium. Lindsay Campana (9-10) kept the Eagles off the scoreboard en route to her second-straight complete game shutout, picking up seven strikeouts along the way. Taylor Peyton (6-5) took the loss for BC despite holding the Pack to just five hits.
